1. Electric or thermal forklifts?

For most types of forklift, the choice of energy mode is not an issue.

For example, all warehouse machines designed for use in narrow aisles and enclosed buildings are only available in battery-powered electric versions, for reasons of both compactness and working conditions. Conversely, all park and site machines are thermal. The question really only arises for cantilever trucks with capacities of between 1 t and 4 to 5 t.

The first choice criterion is obviously hygiene and working conditions.

LPG or diesel-powered thermal forklifts may only be used in well-ventilated buildings. Particular care must be taken to ensure that the appliance is not stacked in areas where people are permanently present.
