10. Players and assistance

There are two categories of energy diagnostician or auditor:

• independent, i.e. not affiliated with a supplier of equipment, energy services or energy, guaranteeing a minimum of objectivity and impartiality in proposing energy-saving actions. These are engineering and consulting firms, consulting engineers and consultants. Industrial technical centers (CETIAT, CETIM, etc.) and consular chambers can also offer more specialized energy analyses;

• commercial approach, i.e. affiliated with an equipment supplier (electrical, boiler, etc.), an energy supplier or an energy efficiency service company.
