2. Identify the processes required for your QMS
The aim of this stage is to provide access to the necessary and sufficient information for those involved in the management system, to create a basis for the system's operation, and to meet the requirements for documented information (see ISO 9001:2015, in particular chapter 4.3 for the scope, chapter 4.4 for the operation of processes, and chapter 7.5 for the data required by the standard or necessary for the effectiveness of the management system).
According to the same standard, "the extent of information documented as part of a quality management system may differ from one organization to another, depending on :
