INTRODUCTION
To get started with the quality approach, you need to familiarize yourself with its basic vocabulary. The performance of a quality management system depends in part on a good understanding of the concepts and terms used in standards and contractual requirements.
The ISO 9000 standard translates the principles and vocabulary used in ISO 9001, but is not always easy to read. To help you identify and understand the main definitions underlying the requirements, this sheet sets out the main terms to be mastered, based on the PDCA structure (plan, do, measure, improve).
