5. Mistakes to avoid
Don't give the impression to certain stakeholders affected by a change that this change is merely an inevitable consequence of another element of the project that doesn't concern them. All stakeholders must "find their interest" in the change.
Don't over-detail your objectives: this will make it harder to achieve them, and put the brakes on everyone's ability to innovate and get involved.
Don't settle for vague or ambiguous objectives: objectives must set the course (and the same course for everyone).
Don't define objectives too narrowly or partially: if the objectives provide only a partial solution to the problems that have been identified and that justified the change, you need to ask yourself whether they are still relevant to the organization.
