INTRODUCTION
The value chain is the set of activities that modify a product or service and transform it into a final product or service with high added value for the customer.
The aim is to identify the competitive advantage available to the company, to help it stand out from its existing competitors and perform well in its market. This can be achieved in three ways: by offering a lower cost, by differentiating the product range or by targeting a specific market segment.
Detailed value chain analysis is a management tool that helps identify the company's activities that lead to a better product or service that will be appreciated by the customer.
The aim, of course, is to attract customers and/or offer them a superior product for which customers are willing to pay more, and thus for the company to increase its profits.
