When setting up a Project Management Office within an organization, the PMO Method has two pillars at its disposal to define the associated methods and implementation procedures:
French and international standards and best practices ;
past experience, if he or she already has PMO experience in previous positions.
These two pillars, which are essential when the service is launched, will quickly find their limits when a Project Management Office is set up, and will come up against the practicalities of projects.
