Organizing innovation as a project requires the company to set up an innovation unit with dedicated resources:

  • human resources whose profile depends mainly on the nature of the project (engineers, experts, designers, buyers, marketing experts, etc., project managers);

  • appropriate technical resources (CAD, calculation resources, prototyping resources, laboratories, etc.) ;

  • access to resources outside the company :

    • subcontracting,

    • partnerships with academic laboratories,

    • suppliers,

    • etc.
