4.1 Define what you want to achieve

An effective pitch doesn't try to say everything, but to provoke action. To do this, it's essential to know what you want to achieve by the end of the pitch. The objective can be modest (getting a second meeting) or ambitious (securing financing), but it must always be clear, concrete and achievable.
