8. Mistakes to avoid

  • Choosing a consultant too quickly: don't neglect or underestimate the selection stage, even with word-of-mouth consultants or those who have already given you satisfaction in the past.

  • In your exchanges, pay close attention to the quality of the consultant's questioning, which reveals his level of mastery of the subject, his preparation, and his ability to structure a dialectic to gather useful information quickly and effectively (a marker of efficiency during the intervention).

  • Don't let the expression of your new needs be "formatted" by the skills you've already seen and the experience you've already acquired.
