Mission

An organization's raison d'être, as formulated by management.

Organization

A person or group of people with a role, responsibilities, authority and relationships enabling them to achieve their objectives.

This is the term used by ISO to designate the entity wishing to implement the principles of management (or the management system), whether it be a company, an administration, an association, a self-employed person, a charitable organization, under public or private law.

Interested Party

A person or organization that can either influence a decision or activity, or be influenced or consider itself influenced by a decision or activity. Examples include customers, owners or shareholders, banks, employees, suppliers, neighbors, authorities,...
