17. Choice of energy-saving action plan

Once the facility's energy situation has been studied and energy-saving solutions and means of improving energy performance have been proposed, it's up to the management team to draw up the action plan based on the choice of criteria to be taken into account.

These criteria will depend mainly on the company's financial capabilities, but also on the motivations of the decision-makers.

For a manufacturer, the first of these is the need to reduce costs, cut energy bills and improve profit margins:
