To ensure optimum production management and avoid idling in the production process, or exceeding authorized power levels, knowledge of the organization of the production line, and its optimization, will be appreciable sources of savings. Not starting up all the machines at the same time, giving priority to certain equipment steps over others, planning these steps, and having an overall diagram of operation over time are all ways of intervening in the process to reduce the energy consumption it entails.
