8.1 Space heating: the challenge of height and comfort conditions
The heating of industrial premises differs from that of commercial buildings, particularly offices, in that it must be adapted to the specific activity carried out in the premises, i.e. to the particular conditions associated with the production line (exothermic or non-exothermic process, humidity level, etc.), which depend in particular on the size of the equipment and/or the product to be processed. This last parameter often leads to industrial sites with large workshops in terms of surface area, volume and height.
