5. Appoint process drivers and describe processes and associated skills

Together with management, appoint a pilot or process manager for each defined process. The main mission of a process manager is to organize the operation of the process and ensure its efficiency in relation to customer objectives and expected performance.

Each process manager is usually responsible for describing the process(es) for which he or she is responsible, according to the description framework chosen by the company (see Writing process description sheets [FIC 0463] ).
