4. What needs for what environment?

It's interesting to "rise above" current practices to come up with a new solution at a higher level of abstraction, rather than staying with an overly detailed description of current needs.

Place the latent needs analysis in the context of the market and the agents involved.

Make a collective construction by asking yourself the following questions:

  • what do we need to do internally to meet these new needs? What new procedures?

  • in what environment will the solution be used?

Prioritize your needs:

  • classify needs according to their importance for the customer ;

  • establish links between consumer needs and the product's design, technical, commercial...
