1. What is eco-ideation? Presentation of the approach

Creativity is often perceived as a relatively abstract concept, often assimilated in a too restrictive way to a simple brainstorming session which would then suffice :

• for some, to bring people together, generate ideas and select those most relevant to the set objective;

• for others, to confront infinitely complex processes, combining different cognitive, organizational, social and technical data.

The idea generation phase, or eco-ideation, is an essential part of the eco-innovation process. During this phase, the project group is called upon to generate ideas with strong environmental and social ambitions. In this respect, the aim of this phase is to generate original and varied ideas, covering the "field of possibilities": new eco-innovative ideas for products, services,...
