17. The environment

Energy - its resources, use and management - is a theme that is included in approaches such as sustainable development and the circular economy. However, it has to be said that this theme is rarely addressed in the latter. The seriousness of an environmental commitment can be judged not only by the presence or absence of objectives to improve energy management, but also by its concrete actions.

Implementing energy-saving measures is the key to reducing environmental impact, and in particular GHG emissions.
