5. Mistakes to avoid

  • Don't overlook the impact of internal or external social networks, and of exchanges on collaborative platforms if they are present in the company, including internal messaging. These new communication media encourage rapid exchanges. You can't ignore them, all the more so with the generally harmful tendency to use mass media to exchange potentially sensitive business documents. Make sure that your own messages are not overtaken by rumors or leaks, facilitated by the use of these tools.

  • Don't short-circuit operational management, and don't forget to take field teams into consideration. Without their support from the outset of the project, the risk of rejection is high. The effect can be pernicious, because if you don't motivate them, it's highly likely that their rejection will not be expressed and will "simply" translate into inertia...
