2. Explain how the Value Mapping Tool works and its various supports

The aim of this stage is to present the Value Mapping Tool's approach and operation to all group members.

The recommended duration of the exercise is two hours.

Before embarking on the process, the group needs to identify :

• a session moderator, whose role will be to guarantee the process and the time allotted, to facilitate dialogue between group members, and to lead the various phases of the process;

• a session secretary, whose role will be to record all discussions during the session, and in particular all ideas put forward during the creativity phase.
